Not Here At All!

I have literally logged on to post this ... that I should have done yesterday. However, after a busy few days I had a good lazy morning, and didn't get up early. Great for my health - not so good for everything else!
I managed to get everything done in the end ... then, of course, yesterday was Sunday, so no LJ/computer.
I have Brenda coming later today ... and I am working all day. So won't be around until Friday afternoon, at the earliest. She has come these few days for 5 summers (so counting Covid, this is the 6th year). We will be out and about for 3 days ... so when I return there will (hopefully) be loads of photos to spam you with!
So, let's get the questions done, this posted, and then off to work ...
12. The first American police force was established in New Amsterdam back in 1658. Have you ever had to deal with the police?
Only when I have had to make a statement when I was run over a couple of days before my 21st!!
13. Do you like wearing hats?
Yes & no!
I always, always wear a hat to Church.
Never had a problem wearing a hat when horse-riding (or fencing, if a mask counts)
But, don't often wear a woolly hat, and only a sun-hat in some locations (for example wore one most of the time in Egypt)
14. The UK has a ‘National Financial Awareness Day’ today. How are your finances (no need to go into specifics - but do you have enough to do what you want, when you want)?
Does anyone?
I love travel, so a few more pennies in the account would always be useful!
15. Do you like showing your feet (do you have nail polish on your toenails)?
Repainted them yesterday! They were green, now are red. And, I actually wear a toe ring, and well as ankle chains.
16. Today in 1939 The Wizard of Oz premiered at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, starring Judy Garland. Have you ever seen it?
Yes ... but, no, never again!
