Another day off ... another grey day.
I had planned to meet up with my friend from work who is on long-term sick leave with depression ... poor girl can't get a break though as they have just found out that her husband has cancer. He is seeing the oncologist today.
I had a couple of hymn sheets from the funeral to post so I walked the long way round, and in the midst of the grey weather I was happy to see a touch of colour
The district I was walking through is called Heavitree ... thus named as it was where one of the city gibbets was. This is one of the oddest monuments in the area ... and as you can see
here, in Exeter Memories I am not the only one to think that way.
With a close-up of the poem ... and "good luck" even with photo enhancement this is as good as it gets!
As I turned to head home I saw this property, which has always fascinated me. Having seen it for 25+ years (as it's near Tim's place, it never seems to have changed in that time ... even the heights of the trees.
Right, let's see if I can get another Snowflae entry done today ... but I need to get the final question of the month done -
