Although if you don't work Mon - Fri 9 - 5 I don't suppose that matters. And, especially if, like me, you will be working today!
In other words, I need to really find a better title for this post!!
Anyway, it is a Saturday, and again the sun is shining at the moment. However I have just walked down to the shop and was glad I had good shoes on as there were puddles all the way. We had a lot of rain overnight. As I am slightly up a hill I don't have to worry about flooding, but that is something that sadly has happened around the country ... so hope you are all safe, and dry.
Tomorrow after Church I am home for a short while (we have an early service) before heading out to Tim & Claires for Sunday Lunch. They have Claire's Mum up for a long weekend. I get on well with Aileen so it will be good to see her. I did get on with Richard as well, but sadly their marriage was a little disjointed over the years. However, all in all, the whole family do miss him. I dare say she will want to know some of my thoughts about Belfast, and Northern Ireland. Richard was regular army and did 3 tours of duty there ... the only location the family never hear much about.
So that's my weekend plans ... how about you?
So, as I get on again -
4 - Candy Day: Do you have a sweet tooth? What's your favourite candy?Oh I love, love, love sweets.
Jelly Beans, are a real favourite, and it’s rare there is not a packet of them, or a similar type, open in a bowl on my coffee table. You would also find it rare to not find toffees available, as well.
If we go to chocolate, then basically it has to be Cadbury … nothing else quite hits the mark, although a couple of other companies have mint flavoured bars I like.
5 - Zero Tasking Day: The extra hour we get when daylight savings times change is often heralded as an opportunity for extra productivity, activity and ‘doing’. However, given that we’re all already ‘owed’ an hour every other time it changes, it seems a little unfair to expect us to work through it - as such, Zero Tasking Day is designed to dedicate this hour to ‘me time’, encouraging rest, relaxation and a distinct lack of work. How will you spend (or did you spend if you changed your clocks before this weekend), your extra hour? If you live somewhere that doesn't observe daylight savings time, what would you do if you had an extra hour of 'me time'?
Sorry, I just enjoy an extra hour in bed before the alarm goes off and I need to get ready for Church.
Before I sign off I must wish
kazzy_cee a great day - Happy Birthday
Right, see you Monday x
