Now I Know Why I Like Giraffes!
Heee - yes, I heard this morning that London & Whipsnade zoos are starting their annual weigh-in. Every animal has to be weighed in the next couple of days. Apparently, according to a spokeslady, the hardest "person" to get on the scales are the giraffes.
I never go near scales, if I can help it ... so, yes, giraffes go up yet another notch in my liking!
Work has been good - it was nice doing a job that I used to do pre-Covid. It was where I started my receptionist training, so nice to re-visit it.
I have the day off today, so have already done some cleaning (yes mummy, I am sometimes a good girl). I am going to finish some icons in a minute. I also want to get some shopping done, as well as bake a cake. I have been a bit lazy with my baking over the last couple of weeks .. so that's the plan for today. I also want to get caught up with you all, but as ever -
24 - International Strange Music Day: What is the oddest music you've ever listened to?
To me most modern jazz is odd.
However I suppose the truly oddest evening was when I was in Turkey - on our last night we had a meal out with local musicians. They played in quartets, but didn't seem to gel together ... made worse as there were 2 such groups in the restaurant!
25 - Kiss and Make Up Day: Is there anyone with whom you have a long-standing argument or conflict? What would it take to resolve the matter? If you're currently at peace with everyone in your life, have you ever had a disagreement with someone that lasted more than a few hours/days?
I have always tried to resolve any problem ... I have a quick temper (although it is better with the years), but it disappears as rapidly.
