Making More Holiday Plans

That's first on my morning tasks!  As I mentioned last year I had aimed to get to China, and had hoped to go this year, but as the political changes etc were not great I hadn't been happy about that ... and neither had the company I had planned to travel with.  So much so I was offered a full refund on my deposit, or a chance to re-book somewhere

Egypt! How exciting!

I am really looking forward to the trip - I remember as a kid being upset that Mum said we couldn't go and see Tutankhamun's mask when it came to London.

But this trip also has a day looking at some WWII battle sites/graves ... another win for me

Dad's #1 wish was to see the pyramids in Egypt ... so he will be super jealous of the phone call I am making (I am on hold at present) as I am going to book to go to Egypt in early 2024.
Oh wow!! I hope the booking goes well and that the trip itself is brilliant (when you get that far).

The trip is now booked ... 11 days touring. So lots of mummies, as well as the WWII history (which most of the tours don't bother to do ... and thus the reason I chose this particular tour)
