Another Week Gone
No real news.
I walked to the post office this afternoon to the post office as I had written a couple of letters, yet didn't have any spare stamps. And, it was shut ... a large sign said it was open 7 days a week ... but apparently that is an hour a day, when you read the small print. It is part of a mini-mart, but they don't sell stamps, as many supermarkets do. They said I should have come in this morning ... great I will just cancel my work shift to fit in with your timings shall I?
Never mind, I am going to a large supermarket tomorrow and I know they sell them ... loss of sale. I suppose they will be annoyed if they lose the contract at some point, but they aren't really helping themselves. I know that everyone has time off, but this is a regular lack of opening, not just missing a day.
*grumble, grumble*
Work went well, so that was an OK finish to the week, as I am not working this weekend.
