Dez and Jett stopped by tonight to give their final farewells to Batty. Tomorrow morning will be difficult, but more and more I'm glad I didn't wait until next week like I was originally planning. He's cool to the the touch and his eyes look a little sunken. He seems tired.

Well, Batty is much too gentle to be a mouser, and Cosmo, once a great hunter of all things small enough to hunt, is now too old, senile, and arthritic. Lot of good these two old guys will do.
