I am feeling very proud: over the last two days, I have knitted myself a cute little purse! I bought the yarn last summer when I was in Newport, RI with the fam, and although I began the project a long time ago, I put it to one side after I dropped an irretrievable stitch literally just as I was casting off the last one

And with the metric/imperial thing: I know. I have a girl in my maths class this year and she's really smart, but she just could not figure out metric conversions, especially metric to imperial conversions and vice versa!
