Had a wonderfully productive day today. I swear the days seem longer now...it must be daylight savings time.
Walked to and from Peking Delicacy with the Paytons...and had a fufilling conversation with Sophie as usual. The food at the restaurant was delicious, met our expectations and satisfied us immensely. The walking was good as well: exercise to work up an appetite and exercise to work off a meal! Just a bit though..it wasn't real jogging as the original plan had it to be. But then, it wasn't going to be a family outing either. Nonetheless, the whole incident was entirely enjoyable. Their new apartment is absolutely gorgeous and the garden...wow. I'd like her room! It is one to die for. "If you ever want to run away, you can just jump out your window! And you won't break an arm or anything inconvenient!" Hehe...I have the brightest ideas.
Spent the rest of this afternoon restoring an antique picture frame...unfortunately, we think this frame has got paint on it, which is why some parts of it are white and decaying! So trying not to be rought with restoration. I'll have to admit in it's present condition it's much cleaner than it was before, and much more presentable. Weeded our garden a bit...and am now doing history. I calculated, and if I plan to finish the book in 4 days I should do 11 pages a day, which isn't bad at all. Then I will get down to reviewing! I'm making all the APUSH people do that with me. Well, when they come back from Vienna, Paris, etc. etc. A history party! :P eWWWWWWWWWW. I prefer birthdays. Speaking of which I just realized that 2 of my guy friends have the same birthday b/c Birthday Alarm has sent me two reminders. Hehe...must remember!
