Hello, Friends.
I am going to England for a month with Liam and his family. I will meet his eccentric British relatives.
We might also fly to Spain for a couple days (I've never been). Or Marseilles. I am very excited about this --also, I am going to try and change my ticket so that on the way back, I can stop in New York City for a week or so, to visit my family there. Woot! Giant slices of delicious pizza spring to mind. Also, yarn stores...
All this excitement has generated a massive surge of knitted items that I simply must make, right now!
Life continues. I go to work at one of my jobs or the other, and I come home again.
I'm on a hypoallergenic elimination diet right now, so much of my thinking about my trip tends to be food-centric (since I'll be finished by the time I leave).
For example, a typical "planning" question is for me to ask Liam if they have eggs Benedict in England (which I have recently developed a great love of, after a lifetime of hatred). Or, what pubs are like in England. Or, in what way meat pies are different in England from meat pies here (better, apparently).
Anyway, feel free to leave me advice, if you want. I hereby solicit it (so it won't be unsolicited advice!).
