Meme time!
If you happen to be working on some creative writing project, fanfiction or NaNoWriMo or what have you, post exactly one sentence (or more) from each of your current work(s) in progress in your journal. It should probably be your favourite or most intriguing sentence so far, but what you choose is entirely your discretion. Mention the title (and genre) if you like, but don't mention anything else -- this is merely to whet the general appetite for your forthcoming work(s).
I'm just going to post sentences and what the fandom is. If I say the title, I feel like people will jump on me for it. 8D
I [ Xenosaga ]
He didn't try to stop her as she grasped his body, pushing him down on the cold, soft grass. He didn't stop her when her fangs pierced his flesh, when pain erupted from his neck and blood, sweet blood, flowed into her mouth. He was being drained and it was painful, yet he did not stop her. He wanted this, after all, it was his decision to have her this way.
And all he could see was blue and red. Blue was the sky. Blue was her hair. Red was his blood. Red was her eyes.
II [ Final Fantasy VII ]
She tried to squirm out of his grasp, but his hold on her hand was strong, firm, as though he would let go, she'd disappear forever. Her time with him was short and brief, but Yuffie got the impression that deep down, Genesis was a clingy man. Clinging to anything that helped him get the revenge he wanted.
At least that was what she felt that that was all she was to him. If that was the case, what was that kiss on her forehead from the other night about?
III [ Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga ]
There was a reason he needn't when it was unnecessary: He was honest, brutally honest, straight to the point, sharp and cruel. It was for that reason alone that Serph felt action was needed to convey his thoughts, for the words he would speak to Sera were ones that could easily strengthen or break him, depending on her answer afterwards.
IV [ Kingdom Hearts ]
He would mostly drift off into memories when left alone to his own devices. It was frustrating, really. These were not his memories. These were not his feelings. And that wasn't his voice calling out to a girl named "Kairi." All that it took to brush aside these thoughts was Olette's presence walking in on him.
V [ My Series ]
Her breath was coming out in short pants, strained and wheezing. Cold sweat dripped down her face, her eye wide with fear and teeth gnashed together to hide the scream rising in her throat. Closed spaces... Too tight... Too dark... She didn't like it. She wanted to get out. She needed to get out...
Gungnir jerked her head up when a pair of hands held her face and brought her to stare directly into Blue Cap's calm, easy violet eyes. His smile was benevolent, but she knew better. His smile was mocking, his smile was pleasing, all in that expression, she found a little bit about what he thought of her.
Mana watched them at the corner of her eyes, watched Gungnir quietly fall out of conscious, head supported by Blue Cap's hands, and saw the twisted smirk beneath the shadow of his hat.
VI [ Xenosaga ]
He wanted to see what chaos saw in her. To Canaan, she was a valuable asset to the team, a powerful fighter, anti-social (even more than him), and better yet, an android. He heard Shion rant about how she was more than that, how she could simply empathize with others if she tried (which rarely happened - it was more that she was stating facts, not empathizing), and watched how the brunette fiercely protected her were she ever in danger (again, rarely happened; it was more the opposite).
Still, he was confused.
"I need to speak with you," He said, short and clipped. Of course. That was him. He needn't beat around the bush; the very thought was stupid.
Crimson eyes moved to him, an adequate indication of knowing that she was listening to him. Narrowing his gold orbs, he began to speak.
Whew. That's that for now. I'm actually devising a Tales of the Abyss and .hack//G.U. thing, but I have yet to think up a solid plot for both. And Abyss has a weird OTP of mine as its main pairing, and .hack is mostly about some random thoughts and of Tri-Edge aka Azure Kite and my hopes of seeing BlackRose come in and more drama happens. XD And yes, I love Kite x BlackRose. :P
