(no subject)
Today i had to attend a Pastoral Care conference for the local chapter of chaplains...(that sounds funny) anyway, it wasn't really what i expected. there were three speakers. i couldn't really hear the first speaker except for when he made a gynocological joke..fyi, men really shouldn't do that. ;) the last two speakers were sharing their stories mostly. I LOVE hearing other's stories. I liked when one of them sarcastically commented that he was glad that he finally got to speak for all African Americans. I totally understand that and believe that i can only speak for me. so, with that in mind and in response to the several emails i had when i got home:
I am a Christian. I am a Democrat. I am a supporter of Obama. You can be all three of those at the same time...really, you can.
but, i'm only speaking for myself.
while I listening to the first speaker mumble, a bird flew into the window--hard! so hard, that there was this little greasy spot where his body hit, and two wing shaped greasy spots too. feathers were everywhere. ironically, his body landed next to a statue of st francis, patron saint to animals...
