Sure it's simple enough to write an interpreter. Really, is there a reason people still use it in a non-embedded system?
I was messing around with scripting the gimp for something. I decided to look at script-fu, because I was curious. I am so glad that someone wrote python-fu. Whoever decided that scripting the gimp with scheme was a good idea should be made to write a scheme interpreter in brainfuck. Sadly, they'd probably enjoy it.
