[action, for 308 Miller Street]
[Sometime shortly past noon on Sunday, there is a black-cloaked woman walking through the door.  As in, literally through it.  She's unruffled, though her voice carries a tone of urgency.]

Grandfather?  Grandfather, we need to talk.

[Also she is carrying an extremely sharp sword dripping blood and other messy body ( Read more... )

You needn't worry about the surviving part, Miss Sto Helit. I've heeded your advice to the tee.

[ Even if she's on edge, she allows a very little smile cross her lips. ]

[Susan glances around the shed again.]

I ought to have asked you earlier why you were staying on someone else's property. This isn't on the address you gave me, is it?

No, but through my note taking, I noticed the shed here had something in it. So, I used this opportunity to check it out and it turns out I was right.

Well. I'm glad those 'somethings' didn't turn out to be piles of turnips. Anyone else drop by yet?

A couple of people, yes. I've had help in fortifying the entrance, so I should be safe in here until it blows over.

[Susan hadn't seen the entrance, given her insistence on unorthodox entrances, so she'll take Diana's word for it.]

You will need food at some point. And the facilities. ...Perhaps turnips wouldn't have been all bad.

There's plenty of food. Whoever stocked this place up knew what they were doing.

[ She guides Susan over to all of the different supplies they have - the Molotov cocktails, rifles, pistols, cans of food, etc. There's probably a bathroom somewhere, too. ]

[Susan somewhat suspiciously looks through everything the shed has to offer. ...It was too convenient, something like this existing; something was sure to happen. Zombie rats, perhaps.]

It appears you're quite well-fortified.

[pause]

Whose shed is this, exactly?

Mr. Cain's. I found his journal in here.

Did you happen to know him?

I'm not acquainted with a Mr. Cain, but it's certainly kind of him to allow you to use his defenses.

...

You didn't leave him to be eaten, I hope.

He was a drone, I think. I assume he's now one of the horde.

...Finder's keepers, then, as they say.

[Susan continues to perform her awkwardly suspicious checking around before finally giving up. Perhaps Diana had just gotten lucky.]

One more thing you'll want to be sure of - Don't lock yourself in a deathtrap. Any hidden exits in here?

Indeed.

[ Diana knows how to survive in a crisis such as this, so to have most of Susan's approval makes her happy. ]

There's the main one that leads out of the shed and I'm sure there's tunnels to go into around here.

Try to be sure they don't come out in the middle of the school or somewhere else crawling with drones. ...Otherwise, it seems you have your bases covered.

Speaking of school, would an infestation of zombies exclude us from being droned or not?

Someone asked about that earlier as well.

No. I don't think it would. We have until Wednesday, since today won't count.
