... so i got married today, and tomorrow is the first day of the new year. winter is right around the corner, but it looks to be a warmer one than i've ever had before because much is promised to come. this year i don't even have to wait until spring for the world to come alive and remind me that i, too, am still alive. this time i'll carry a spark ( Read more... )

It was an absolutely beautiful day!!
Ironically, the weather was almost identical for our wedding 6 years ago today--and we used almost the same wording for our ceremony (i modified a handfasting into a Presbyterian ceremony)...

the only place i know for certain i have the ceremony is on the hard drive of the computer that needs a new processor/mother board. i'll look and see if the typed version is still around our album.

I do have a card for a discounted membership for Mothering magazine for a "Christmas gift" if you're interested in it, i can toss it to you.
Birthing from within is a WONDERFUL book, isn't it?
Oh, and let me know what you think about the videos.

Congrats. My apologies for missing it. Having just gotten back from a rather...unpleasent road trip, and then had to deal with it's after effects, I was not feeling like I'd be particularly joyous. I am very happy for you. Goodness to you and yours.
