joyous samhain
... so i got married today, and tomorrow is the first day of the new year. winter is right around the corner, but it looks to be a warmer one than i've ever had before because much is promised to come. this year i don't even have to wait until spring for the world to come alive and remind me that i, too, am still alive. this time i'll carry a spark of that life with me through all the cold months ahead and it will grow into even greater promise in the spring.
i won't waste time trying to convey how happy i am. today was simply a wonderful day. we were even blessed with the weather. clear, blue, sunny skies and warm breezes at the end of october!
to everyone that came... thank you for helping to make today more beautiful with your energies and well-wishing. to everyone that couldn't make it because we gave you all of two days notice... you were with us anyway!
