The intense coloring of his robe made Leon feel even more dream-like. The midnight blue and green overwhelmingly added to his already jewel-toned features, and he couldn’t stand it. The sunlight illuminated D in his close-cut outfit, the bottom hem long and trailing behind him.
“Hey, D-“
A noise behind him, and Leon jumped, whirling to see D carrying his teapot, distinctive amused eyes studying him.
“I see that you’ve met my recent addition. His feathers are exquisite, aren’t they? It is how peacocks draw in their mates.”
Leon’s eyes widened, finding only the lovely bird in place of his vision.
