Groundhog Day

Feb 02, 2005 15:05

Yeah, today's the day where the little animal comes out, sees his shadow, and goes back in. It doesn't really predict anything, but it's fun to talk about. I mean, winter ends in 6 weeks and 6 days, regardless of who sees a shadow and where they run to get away from it.

CCD last weekend was, well odd. Our teacher is Irish, has the Boston accent, and can't seem to complete one thought without adding fifty new ones. We got absolutely nothing done, between the stories of his childhood (he lived in South Shore, actually) and his train of thought constantly stopping. I mean, he compared the time he stol someone's wallet at a baseball park to how we should treat others the way we would like to be treated. Hypocrite? I think so.

Teen Night was rather dull. I talked to Alyssa and Jess most of the time. The rest of the time I was basically falling asleep. I'm not watching the DDR room anymore, I just can't handle the heat, it's always like 100 degrees down there.

Today is Boyscouts, and I'm in charge because Austin can't make it. This sucks. I just hope I can get all my requirements for Eagle done before this May. That's when I'll be doing my Eagle Project, with the help of the Health Dept. Then, I wont have to be in Boyscouts anymore.

Oh, and I'm getting a new cell phone on Monday. This is like the worst and the best week of the year so far. It's really bad, because I think I lost my closest friend. I really think I need some more real friends. Ones that are there for me when I need it. Ones that I can talk to whenever, about anything. I could use that right now.

Goodbye for now.
