Since yesterday was Sam's birthday I did a joint b-day/V-day gift thing and took her to see Phantom on Broadway. Kept it a surprise till we were in the car on the way to the train station. Turns out Raging Speedhorn didn't go on till 8:20 last night, so I could've slept nearly 2 hours longer. I should've called the venue sooner to find out, but at least I got to take a later train. I went to NYC and saw Sonata Arctica tonight. Great fucking show. Except for the opener that I wasn't aware of, a Queensryche tribute band. I'm not a big Queensryche fan so it bored me pretty thoroughly. I got a hot dog and a bottle of water from Nathan's in penn station and it cost $4.82. Can you believe that shit?
