IC INFO: Character name: Dave Nails Fandom: Dogs; Bullets and Carnage Age: No age is given for Dave canonly, but I tend to assume early 20s. I'm going to go ahead and peg him as 23.
Appearance: If you were to stick Dave in a crowd of a bunch of people, he probably wouldn't stand out that much, aside from the bright red hair. Dave stands in the above average group when it comes to height, but he's not someone who stands out because of his tallness. I'd peg him at about 5'11, a little under six feet - so he's above ordinary but below extraordinary. Nothing particularly special about his height, no. His hair is short and often unkempt (in a charming way mind you) most likely due to minimal brushing and rolling around the streets. Like mentioned before, one of the few noticeable things about Dave is his hair, which is bright red/orange. Sort of like a traffic cone! His eyes, in contrast, are a light green - Dave is a man who wears his years heavily around his eyes, I think, with little crinkles when he smiles and faded bags from

Canon point: Seven years prior to canon, during an investigation of the underground. Dave and Badou (his younger brother) are ambushed, Badou loses his eye, and Dave gets (presumably) killed. Cause of Death: Canon death: getting mortally wounded during an investigation of the underground and falling the edge of a platform in the lower areas.
Abilities: Despite being in a series with a ton of genetic enhancement, experimentation, brain washing, and other fun strange things, Dave is actually a pretty normal guy when you get down to his “abilities” - there's nothing supernatural or genetically enhanced about him. However, that doesn't mean he's some sort of push over! He's extremely fast on his feet - he has to be, since he's an investigative journalist. He digs up dirt and then spreads it as far as he can, which a lot of people tend not to like. He's also very sharp and quick thinking, he's someone who picks up on minor details others might not notice or catches subtleties that might have otherwise been missed. There's no super

Background: The extent of Dave's background that can be found on wikipedia is limited to two small mentions, one in Badou's entry and the other in Richter Berthein's entry. Yeah, I know, that's pretty sad. It does make sense though, because Dave is a minor character, despite having a huge influence on Badou and how he lives his life. He dies seven years before canon even begins! However, I will link the Dogs wiki and Dogs character wiki pages for information on other characters and the basic plot of the series

Personality: Firstly, I've got to say this, because it's going to be a running theme throughout this section - Dave is not a Responsible Adult. By the age of 13, Badou was more responsible than Dave was, making sure to pay the bills on time (or... by the final notice, at least) while Dave would often forget to. Dave couldn't cook for shit, aside from stuff out of a can, while Badou taught himself how to cook food that was both edible and actually tasted like food. Dave would wear ripped shirts and jeans until Badou taught himself how to sew. Dave could take care of himself in the most basic of ways, and never struggled to do anything but that. Badou was the one who took care of business, for the most part. More than anything, Dave was a dreamer. He was always thinking about the big busts and how to live his life in a hard boiled way - in one of Badou's flashbacks, he basically says that life is one big party, and you should blow it all out in one big bang. Yeah, I didn't really think so, either. Not much is crazy once you've been killed and then zombified to play a game. Anyone got anything to confirm or deny this rookie smasher business ? Or any sort of similar story? I'm all eyes, here.

14. What habits would you find most annoying in friends? When you're gonna split the bill, and your friend starts picking out everything they ordered and'll only pay for that.
