Fasting
I know many of us have tried fasting for a day just for fun. But today was not one of those days. At 3:45pm today, I had a doctor's appointment for blood testing. And in preparation for that, one must fast 12 hours prior to the appointment. My last meal before fasting was yesterday at 8:30pm. I spent most of today surviving on water and J.K. Rowling literature. By the time I was at my appointment today, I had almost fallen asleep with the needle still in my arm. I was yawning in the face of the secretary, my blood's sugar level was so low. My mother was already worried of how thin I already am. But it was fun. I'm happy that it was on a day where I didn't have a math test. Now that would have been really bad. I probably would have ended up writing an Essay in place of an equation.
After the appointment, I had two dinners.
