I only realised these three things very recently and felt dumb for not noticing/realising earlier.
noticed thing number one:
TP stands for toilet paper.
Yes, it really took me that long. We dont use that acronym in Australia really, so 'TP-ing' someone's house made little sense to me until I saw it done at the same time the phrase was put to it. Cue lightbulb over head.
Also the Beavis and Butthead movie quote 'I am cornholio! I need TP for my bunghole' makes PERFECT sense to me finally. As a kid, i thought he meant an indian tent teepee. That just sounded painful, but i had no other point of refference, and the blonde one was high, so i did not question it XD
noticed thing number two:
Lion King 2. Kovu is the black dude, and Kiara is the white chick, and it's a whole statement on the white chick's dad wailing on the Black dude and saying 'get the fuck away from my daughter'.
Only my animation friends will care about this realisation XD I know its not really the storyline, but it smacks of this shit to me. Hidden messages Disney? I C WAT U DID THERE.

It took me all this fucking time to realise STFU does not mean 'STUFF YOU', but 'SHUT THE FUCK UP'.
It's missuse by me has probably gotten me in more trouble than I've realised more than once.
