This has been one of those up and down weeks.  Down because I have been sick since Tuesday.  Not so sick that I can’t get out of bed, but just sick enough that I’m miserable and in some pain.  In the midst of my misery, I received a notice that I have been nominated in the 2011 round of the Spock/Uhura Fanfiction Awards.

Another exhausting week and limited creative productivity has produced an additional 2048 words.   At this point, it would ridiculous to continue; however, I like my story (crap and all) and will continue to work on it.  So, good-bye NaNoWriMo 2011, it was not nice knowing you.  Perhaps next year we will have a better go at it.

Didn't make it to 50,000 words, but I'm damn proud of my 42, 168-word partial paranormal story.  It's not going to see the light of day as is; however, I will salvage parts of it for a workable novel. 

I think I have a few screws missing because I signed up for NaNoWriMo.  How am I to get a 50,000 word novel completed in one month?  I have a job that seriously cuts into my time and other stuff to deal with.  Yep, I've gone off the deep end.
