todays horoscope:

granted, i'm not much for horoscopes... but i think they are fun sometimes, like fortune cookies!
so much to write about... today we went to bellanzola, a little town 40 min from here with some cooool old castles. we spent most of our time in an old fortress, pics soon, i promise!
after a delicious lunch, zack/krissy/me had coffee in lugano while juan finished up a tour of the city. then the five of us took a walk downtown.... so beautiful. sundays are really quiet, everyone just out for a stroll but nothing is open. we took a bus to the "top" of mount ble (?). a ZILLION stairs later, we made it to the real top of the mountain, just in time for sunset. imagine a beautiful lake surrounded by tree-covered mountains and the Alps covered in snow behind them. a sunset over the alps... wow.
we walked down to the bus stop through a forest and when we got to an opening, noticed the bus at the bottom of a huge hill...and we run. and run and run, down a rocky set of stairs........and the bus pulls away. so, the five of us wait in the cold at the bus stop for an hour, brrr. but bonding, i guess?
dinner at the pub because i dont really have the hang of dining hall schedule yet. yum. the study abroads are definitely drinkers... we'll see where i fit into this. everyone else is getting back to campus, i'm excited and sorta nervous to meet regular students.
Classes start tomorrow, weird! I kinda forget that I'm not just on vacation here.
