Further Reflections

My prison program seems to be going well! Some people I respect greatly have told me I should rethink it, so that is exactly what I'll do. I have a prison pen pal to confer with, and a great deal of feedback from those who work in law enforcement. If you have any ideas about revising my prison rehabilitation program, let me know

Oho! I sometimes wish I had a secretary or an assistant too, pal. It might be nice to be the one spitting out orders for a change.

"Polish my badge!" "Sharpen my pencils!" "Fetch me some Swiss Rolls!" The possibilities are endless!

I'm in charge of everyone here at the embassy! I don't give a lot of orders, though. I sharpen all my own pencils.

However, my secretary used to tell me to do things like that. I do hope the new ones will be more agreeable.

A detective such as yourself doesn't have any subordinates?

Well yeah, I do have subordinates and they listen to me most of the time. We aren't supposed to send 'em out on personal errands, though. Only the guys with real authority get to do that.

Oh, I see! That makes sense. You mean like Mr. Edgeworth?

Though I suppose I do have that kind of authority as well. I might feel a bit guilty asking an assistant to bring me some tea, however, when I could get it myself...

Nah, don't feel guilty. It's their job! Plus, I'm sure they'd be happy to do whatever you ask them.

Just look at me pal, I'd do whatever Mr. Edgeworth asks...no questions asked!

Today I asked someone to bring me a folder I needed. I think it went well! They didn't seem annoyed at all. I'll try asking for something else later on today.
