My prison program seems to be going well! Some people I respect greatly have told me I should rethink it, so that is exactly what I'll do. I have a prison pen pal to confer with, and a great deal of feedback from those who work in law enforcement. If you have any ideas about revising my prison rehabilitation program, let me know.
I do still think about Manny, and how, if he were alive and in prison where he belonged, I could send him a box of those bay leaf mints he loved so much.
But enough about that! I had a perfectly wonderful day today! I took a mini-vacation and ventured out to see some LA sights. Oh, the souvenirs. I bought so many new ones for my souvenir research shelf that I might need a new shelf soon.
If anyone has recommendations for places in the area to visit, I'd love to hear them. If you could possibly show me around yourself, that would be even better! It might be too much to ask, but I'd be overjoyed to have a local's perspective. The embassy would cover all costs, of course.
In further exciting news, the government is assigning me two new secretaries. A young woman from the former Allebahst and a young man from the former Babahl. I'm overjoyed. My secretariat! Most other ambassadors have more than one secretary, so I'm looking forward to having two. I'm sure it will be delightful. I'm already planning fun things for them to do.
