Ring, ring, ring. What's that sound? That, my dear Nexus-goers, is the sound of your PINpoints, mobiles, rotary phones, phone booths, and other various communication devices ringing. Or buzzing. Or whatever it is that they happen to do.
(
do you answer? )
Oh yeah! "Big-Theta!" Or one of them, at least. "Hi!" He says this while the Doctor is still rambling, so whether or not it is heard is up for debate.
Then big-Theta asks his question, and Koschei is left with an odd expression on his face. Huh. Seems that 'right' and 'right' (and also 'write' for that matter) are completely different words in Gallifreyan. Match that with the fact that the Doctor didn't have a specific meaning one way or the other behind it when he said it and the Nexus translation field being a bit dodgy when via voice-only, and you are left with one very confused Koschei.
"The opposite of what?"

The Doctor stops short of repeating himself, apparently just now hearing the greeting. He'd chalked the return question up to reception issues, his own inquiry not being heard, but a child (by the sound of it) using his childhood nickname - well, that's something else entirely.
"'Right', the opposite of right, it's - it's a play on Earth language. Sorry, who am I speaking to?" Because with that nickname and that voice, he's got an idea, but just to be sure.

But, moving on, there are more pressing matters at hand. "How d'you get these things to call other people? I haven't had mine for long so I dunno how every little thing on it works yet."

Yes, yes, alternate universes. He's teasing, and hopefully Koschei can pick up on that. Then, he abruptly switches from baffled delight to science lecture. "I'm broadcasting the signal from the TARDIS - my TARDIS. What 'these things' are you talking about? Have you got a PINpoint?"

Koschei nods, but then remembers that big-Theta can't exactly hear a nod. "Yeah, I got a PINpoint. Haven't had it for a long time. You're in your TARDIS? Are all the walls still white? Cos I think you should paint something on them, maybe. It looked sorta boring once I got over the cool stuff."

Because clearly if one big-Theta is taking Koschei to random periods of Earth history, another one might as well. There could obviously be absolutely no bad ramifications from this action ever.

A pause.
"So... you gonna take me to see dinosaurs or not?"
