"I can't do that!" Luna says. She doesn't have any powers or anything, god, Tommy is STUPID.

"I don't have any powers!"

Do you have any idea how hard it is to be a kid of two heroes with NO powers?

"You have a cousin who does."

Yeah, the power of stupid, Luna thinks. "You wouldn't really do that for me though," she says, "Even though I'm older."

"Ooh, you could rig a booby trap for them!" Junior says excitedly. "So that if they try to follow you, they get hoisted upside-down and lose their pants!"

"That would be great! Wait, one of them can fly, does that change things?"

"Hmm," Junior says. "I'm sure we can rig some kind of trap or something. Maybe a net?"

Junior's one of the good guys, but he's got a healthy serving of mad scientist in him.

"A net could work! I wish she'd just vanish, all she does is be gross with the other person who's following me around."

"Oh, sweetie...sometimes you need to involve the grown-ups. Why is he following you?"

"Because he's stupid and he thinks I'm doing something I'm not. I want him to stop!" Because it was really, really annoying.

"Involve a grown-up you can trust, then. Do you maybe have a grandfather or someone you might feel comfortable involving?"

"I like talking to Grandfather, but Father says he lies a lot, and I don't know..." she kicked at the ground.

"I can't kill them. It's wrong and I don't have any powers."

"You asked how I'd do it. I'd kill them. And then I'd eat them." Smiiirk.

"You... should probably just tell your parents."
