(no subject)
So I've been wanting to write, but unfortunately I've been lacking all ambition to do so at home. I really want to write when I'm at work like right now. I have a few updates about life! :)
First I am working on some art for this benefit auction called "Feed the Gays." Why I'm so excited about this is because this auction is going to be raising funds for something great, and also it is the perfect motivation to work on art. I've been slacking off because I haven't had any self motivation. It's been hard to find a creative outlet other than the tiny bit I'm finding in my ceramics class. However, class is nothing like sitting in a coffee house with a sketchbook. I found this great 24 hour coffee house, and I think it's made me begin to realize that my art style is changing. :) It's always nice to find a new way to draw. It's reminding me of the old Ben Edlund Tick comics. He had a very specific way that he drew people's eyes... But yeah, new art is awesome.
I wanted to post a "Secondly" part, but I think I've forgotten what I was going to say. Hmm...
I don't know, but I have been reading a lot lately. I've read "Atypical" about Aspergers, and I'm going to start reading "Steve and Me" or is it "Steve and I" about Steve Irwin. It's nice to get done with work or class and watch some Kenshin, read, and then go to sleep. It's been going a long nicely. I've been talking to people who matter to me, distancing myself from those who hurt me, and trying to be truer to myself. I also started a garden that I need to replant into some larger pots and soon too. Things are going well for me. I wish I could say the same for my friends, but hopefully their lives will be sorted out too.
