After watching the season premiere for the 4th time...
..I came to the following conclusions:
- When Purgatory!Dean appears on screen I just can't... that wild and fierce look in his eyes, the way he moves, the way he fights, completely did me in. Badass Dean is perfection. And I need more. much much more.
- I love Sam, I really do. That's why I can understand that after everything he went through this last year (Lucifer in his head, Bobby's death and Dean's disappearance just to name a few...) he was feeling a TINY bit alone and desperate and didn't know what to do next.
I can understand that he was driving, probably thinking of Dean and of everything he had lost and then, he hit the dog, cause that's just his luck...And then he met this girl and suddenly he thought that maybe he could just stop driving and be with her...( even if he had told Dean that he now knew he would never have an "apple pie life" cause it was just not meant to be for them)...
What REALLY pisses me off is that he didn't even try to look for Dean.... WHY Sam??? I know you were alone, but you're a smart guy, you could have least tried... Cause the hurt look in Dean's eyes when he realized you didn't even try was just too painful to watch.
- Was Dean a bit too harsh with Sam? yeah,maybe, but you see, I think that after spending 12 months fighting non-stop for your life surrounded by nothing but monsters might make you a little harsh.. not to mention when you find out that your own brother just gave up on you and went on with his life..
As I said, I love Sam, and I'm sure that, as the story unfolds, we'll know the reasons why he stopped hunting , just as I'm sure that he mourned his brother every single day, but it doesn't change the fact that I was happy to see Dean standing up for himself.
- Yay for the "demon phone" so glad to see it back!! I know, I'm a horrible person... that poor room-mate
- Kevin Tran, advanced placement, outsmarted Crowley, king of hell. I like that. He's not a warrior and yet he managed to look after himself, which is not so bad if you consider that the king of hell was chasing him
And I really like Benny! the mysterious friendship between him and Dean is so intriguing. I mean, Dean trusting a vampire? boy, something really important must have happened down there, and I can't wait to find out. Also, I don't think that Benny will keep his nose clean now that he's topside again and when Sam finds out.....
So yeah, I love this episode and I'm so excited for the new season!! Yes, the boys are hiding things from each other again (but, c'mon, they ALWAYS do that! the day they will learn that hiding things is not healthy is the same day in which Sam will bring Dean PIE (not cake!) and Dean won't bitch about the car...) and they need to work things out between them, but I'm not worried. They will ALWAYS choose family in the end. :D (also because if they don't, I'll whack them both with Missouri's spoon..;))
