Writing Shtuff!
So I'm slowly making my way along in my writing. It's a bit like pulling teeth because I know what I want and also I want to do it properly so I can't just babble-write like I normally would.
I've given myself a goal of 10,000 words, though if this grows like I think it might, it's going to end up larger than that. Like maybe 20,000 but I'm not going to hold my breath. This is ME writing after all!
I found a website that does counters for you so here's mine so far:
I feel so proud that I've gotten that far! It's already as or longer than anything else I've written in one go. And that's not including the several re-starts I've had to do, the large chunks I've deleted when i read them back over and hated them and it doesn't include the very haphazard plot outline and characeter lists I've written up. Yes, I did an OUTLINE! What is this world coming to?!
Anyway, time to go back to doing my work...which atm is really me attempting to look busy while really working on writing this monstosity. At this rate, it might be done in time for next year's BB! *laugh* Naw, hopefully before that because I don't think i could wait that long. I'll have to do some more art for it eventually, too. I already have fun ideas for that.
Oh yah, and the website that supplied my very simple counter thingy code it:

If anyone knows of prettier ones, let me know, but for now this works and is a pretty damn good start. :)
Edit: This keeps changing because so far, several fo the meters, while they normally work, don't like my LJ. *lol*
Edit 2: I wrote more! I know it's not much but I actually got a little further so that's an achievement for me. Plus, I feel like I'm at a spot where moving forward with the story should flow alright for a bit. Fingers crossed!
