I don't care that you were awful today, those last 10 minutes more than made up for it. I don't even care that we dropped two points! You want to know why? Cause we are going to Stamford Bridge, and we are going to beat Chelsea, and we are going to win the title there! There's no fucking way we will throw it away, absolutely no way.
Oh wow, what a game! My heart is still thumping like anything! God, you guys are going to give me a heart attack one of these days. And considering that I'm only 20, that is not good at all! Damn, I was totally expecting us to lose, it just wasn't our day today. That's why this draw seems more like a win to me. Maybe I'm going a bit overboard, but I just can't see us losing it. The spirit and fight that these boys showed today, it was incredible! Okay, it took them 75 minutes to wake up, but they totally made up for it in the last 15. We could have scored like 5 goals. And we should have gotten three penalties too. So, I suppose, we were robbed in a way. But on the other hand, we were pretty dire during the first half and for most of the second half, so I dare say it is a fair result.
Also, fair play to Blackburn, they played really well. They had some gorgeous moves going and Freidal was a monster in goal. I didn't even know it was possible for a keeper to make some of the saves he did. Amazing reflexes. And Roque, he was brilliant too. I don't know, I can't seem to dislike Blackburn too much, even though they did steal two points from us. Maybe it's got something to do with it being Sparky's team, they feel like one of ours. I have the same feeling about Sunderland too. Maybe I'm just crazy!
Poor, poor Wazza. I hope his hip is fine. It was a nasy bruise, and it was so brave of him to continue despite the fact that he could barely move. But I think he'll be okay, someone who saw Fergie's post match interview reported that him, Owen and VDS should be fine for Barca. I hope that's true!
I don't know what was wrong with us today, it just seemed like one of those days when the whole world is against you. Nothing went right. Every single trick, flick and pass went straight back at the opposition. All the forwards had bad games. Poor Giggsy was the worse of the lot, and I wasn't surprised to see him replaced. Nani did really well when he came on. It was great to see Vida back, but the defense as a whole was pretty nervous. I think Rio was having an off day, and as he's so crucial at our heart, the others too lost their way a bit. But it's all right, he's entitled to have one bad day in the whole season. In fact they all are. I'm not worried at all, in a way I'm glad we got it out of the way, and we can get back to being at our best against Barca. I can't wait for Wednesday!!
Thank you boys, for making it so interesting. We never do it the easy way, do we? But I wouldn't have it any other way. This is why I love you so much, and why I wouldn't ever want to support anyone else. United for life!!!
