Birthdays and bruises.

Ouch! That result against Bolton really hurt! Both physically as well as psychologically. Honestly, our players were getting kicked from pillar to post! They're absolute brutes, aren't they? *sighs Well, I guess if you're playing in England you just have to deal with it. And I'm proud to see that we gave back as good as we got, with little Patrice ( Read more... )

I know, it looked like an easy 3 pts didn't it? It's hard to take in, but we just have to get over it and move on. Actually, I feel sorry for Sporting and Fulham, cause they will feel the full brunt of our anger!

Heard Fergie was 'sent off' .. lol..
I was amused too, but really he needs to get his act together. It's no use causing a scene on the touchline during each game, and having a go at the ref each time. It reflects badly on the club. We all used to laugh at Jose for that, we don't want everyone else to laugh at us.

Yeah, injuries do happen, we can't expect those two to always win games for us.

We're the Champions, and that trophy is going to stay with us!

And, COME ON LIVERPOOL! You can do it!
(Only when they aren't playing against us)

We really should have been able not only to hold our own against Bolton but to win. Dear Lord, they always played physical/brutal footie (I would think) and we managed to win, win, win. Ngah.

Totally agree with you about Michael but there were glimpses of his usual genius so hopefully he'll be back to his awesome self in no time. There were a few times when I felt a cross into the area to Louis or Tevez would have been better than to go for goal but yeah.

We missed Cristiano. We really did. Patrice is a courageous little bugger but he had problems getting physically through as he practically played as winger for most of the match. Oh well.

And about Cristiano's injury. I still don't get why Ferguson didn't say so outright but said he was just resting him. HUh.

No matter what - I wants my Vida and my Cristianochen and my Wazza back. *pouts*

I know, last season we beat them by 4, FOUR goals in both the matches! It's infuriating to lose to them after, what was it, 30 yrs or something? God, how I hate it when the opposing team breaks some kind of record!

Totally agree with you about Michael but there were glimpses of his usual genius so hopefully he'll be back to his awesome self in no time.Yeah, he was so much better in the second half. I think he and Owen sort of got in each other's way a lot, a bit like how it is when Stevie and Lamps play for England. Both of them would end up going for the same ball. That's what's so great about Anderson, he knows how to play with a partner, to cover the areas that his partner is not covering. That's why we saw Mikey making those really awesome long passes in the second half. If Louis and Carlos were a little bit more aware, or if Cris had been playing, they would definitely have resulted in a goal ( ... )

Why are they even allowed to do that? *sulks*

Totally agree about Michael and Owen but thankfully - unlike with stupid Lampard and Gerard - both of them are totally capable of playing with a partner. They just need to click. But yeah, Anderson is awesome. HIs workrate alone. I mean, he is all over the pitch when he plays. One second he supports the attack, the next he'll clear a dangerous ball at our corner. YAY for Ferguson's and Carlos' vision. Heh.

Yep, best player so far and awesome left back. Hell yeah. And yeah. Giggs was needed in the middle of the field but Evra all alone against those brutes? Oh well.

It's like they don't want to admit that Cris can get injured.
That has to be it. It's like they want to build up this myth to project that whatever opponents will do to him, he won't get hurt. It's ridiculous. Gah.

So do I! And Gary and Paul too!
Of course!! Also Ji-Sung. And I soooo hope Gaz will be back soonish.

Yeah, is should be illegal!

Agree completely. I just remembered, wasn't it Joey Barton who said that the only way Gerrard and Lampard could play together was if there were two balls on the pitch? He's so hilarious is Joey. A complete brute of a player, but I like listening to his interviews.

YAY for Ferguson's and Carlos' vision. Heh.
I must admit I was surprised that they were willing to pay 18m pounds for a relatively unknown 19 yr old, but he has shown that he's worth his weight in gold. Only downside is his faking an injury, it's quite embarrasing. I hope the other players have a few words with him about it.

It's like they want to build up this myth to project that whatever opponents will do to him, he won't get hurt. It's ridiculous. Gah.I swear, it's rather silly. And we end up worrying even more, because we don't know anything for sure. I just pray that he stays fit ( ... )
