~Christmas~
Jared waited outside Jensen’s house for him to come out and head toward his family cabin for the weekend. Jensen walked out of the house with his suitcase under his arm as his hand held onto a few gift bags. He walked down the side walk towards the car and opened the back door and put his bag in the car with the gift bags. He closed the door and got in the front seat, kissing Jared. “Hi.”
“Hi.”
Jared started driving as the radio played Christmas music. “So, how’s school?”
“Okay.” Jensen looked at Jared in his sweater. “You put on weight?”
Jared’s eyes darted down to his stomach and then back up at the road. “No.”
“Oh, you look great.” He kissed Jared’s cheek.
“So do you.”
Jensen looked at the Christmas lights. “Let me know if you need me to drive.” Jared laughed.
“What?” Then it hit Jared what Jensen had said. “Thanks, but you don’t know where we’re going.”
Jensen looked at him and turned back towards the window and looked out as he crossed his arms over his chest.
Jared knew he hit a nerve in Jensen with that statement. He didn’t know the next few hours were going to be a very long., quiet road trip. He turned on the A/C as he started breaking out in a sweat as his morning sickness was making an appearance.
Jensen pulled his jacket up over his arms as he started to get cold. He looked over at Jared and could see the color in Jared’s face had changed. “Are you coming down with something?”
“I’m fine.” He kept his eyes fixed hard on the road ahead of them.
Jared started gripping the steering wheel so hard his knuckles where going white.
“Jared, please pull over?” Jared kept on driving, not hearing what Jensen had said to him. “Jared! Pull over, now!”
