Dean has wanted to get over his fear of flying for a long time. But when he discovers that becoming Castiel's bonded mate means he's going to be growing wings, he's going to have to deal with that fear a lot sooner than anticipated. Castiel helping Dean dealing with the changes, showing him the benefits of wings, all that good stuff. :)

Hey! So, I was gonna post this here, but then Dean kept having feelings and Cas insisted on explaining everything and it would've been in about ten parts, so instead it's here at my journal all in one. It's maybe not quite as literal as you prompted, but I hope you like it!

For all that he's cautioned Sam and Dean to keep their distance, when the shockwave comes rushing toward him Castiel realizes he's standing much too close. He tries to fly but the wave is faster; while he avoids the brunt of the impact the edge still catches him as it rips past, hurling him through the air like a lost kite. Something twists and tears in the maelstrom and he hears himself cry out, the sound small and lost in the roar. He remembers that endless moment of pain just before Raphael tore him to pieces.

He never feels himself hit the ground.

Someone's calling his name. Not his true name, not Castiel, but that's all right. Only his enemies ever call him that anymore. He blinks his eyes open and sees Dean's face hovering over him, so blurry and indistinct he brushes his fingers against the hazy shape to be sure it's there. Dean's lips are moving and Castiel focuses hard to make out the words. "Cas, you hear me ( ... )

Angels are created to love God. They have no free will to do otherwise. Now that Castiel has become God, he can do whatever he wants. Because Dean won't love him under normal circumstances, Castiel turns the disobedient hunter into an angel. Dean has no choice but to love Cas now.

Of course, angels have wings and whatnot so it ties into this theme. Incorporating wings into the fill is up to you. Please make this sad and depressing. The prompt really doesn't lend to anything happy. Break my heart into a thousand pieces.

For some reason, Dean grows wings. Cas can't help but touch them, maybe without meaning to. The more he does, though, the further along their bonding process goes, until they're as good as angel married. Cue bonded!sex.

Dean had only ever seen the shadows of Cas' wings and something happens (writers choice) where Dean can see them in their true form for the first time. He's in aw of them. He knew Cas had them, but he wasn't prepared for how amazing and beautiful and... holy they'd be. He's amazed. And who knows, maybe a little aroused.

Fluff/romance please. Sex and blasphemy also welcomed, but not necessary.

(I asked for this for my birthday challenge and it got claimed but never posted ;__; )

Oh my god i love this so much I can't even describe. Season 5 Cas is my favorite Cas and I love the use of dreams. ;__; It's beautiful.
