When I came to Baltimore for my summer internship, I brought with me my Playstation 2 and two PC games. I have started both PC games in the past and have old saved games on my computer. I also have three PS2 games with me that have partially finished games saved on the memory card.
I was expecting that after work this summer, I'd pull out a game here or there and maybe even FINISH one or more of these games.
Do you know exactly how many times I have turned on my PS2 this summer? That would be a big fat ZERO. And I haven't put a single game disk into my laptop either.
In a way, it's good. I mean, I'm getting a ton of work done, I am learning a lot. I'm jogging 5 days a week. Met a lot of great people. But I haven't had a lot of time to relax. That's not saying I haven't had -any- time -- I have done a fair amount of reading (three books finished!) and ... sleeping. A lot of times I come home early and just crash. Somehow working so much more actually makes me tired, I guess brain work.
But it seems like those saved games will be around for a lot longer. A few of them are -years- old. :(
