the leaf's lesson

May 24, 2005 00:03

3/5/05 i was walking home today on gratten street feeling calm in an empty sort of way. i then noticed the autumn leaves, in their goodbye dance on the ground and, finding them too lively for a dead thing , stomped on one. as soon as i felt it crackle beneath my sneaker, i felt regret...for hurting such a tenacious child of trees.... swirling and swirling, loosing bits of itself to wind ,and eventually disintegrating to into dust...but FREE. infinite particles that go unoticed but at their liberites to do what ever they want. :)
that's the leaf's lesson...

life's a treasure...never stop living it!!
