Jen's got a new cat

On Friday, Marcus and Delphine and I  went around to promote Lincoln's still-new art and culture zine, Acid Free. It was somewhat revealing. For instance, while I kept tabs on the issues we left at the Coffee House (they were gone in about a week or so), we learned that the issues left at Bad Robot were gone in a day! Additionally, some said they had heard about it but hadn't seen it yet, so I guess word is spreading. Hopefully we can get a few more contributors for the future. We're also trying to nab some sponsorship, so if you Star City residents happen to have any pull where you work, how about letting them know.

A lot of my energy the past weekend was figuring out the nuances to Jen's new cat (Theri?). She should be an interesting one. She's formerly feral, but still litterbox trained. She has no real voice and hisses at pretty much everything, and needs to learn how to stop scratching furniture. But, the upside is that she likes to curl up in bed, which is pretty cute. The first night Jen got her, she slept on my chest. She's pretty much a 180 degree personality from Sasha.

And speaking of getting new things, there have been a handful of bigger purchases that I've been wanting to make since about the time I moved here. I've tried being selfless, along with convincing myself I don't really need these things, but lately I've been feeling a lot more selfish, and I just kinda want to buy some shit for me.
