All kinds of nerdliness up in here

Jenny Lewis is playing in Omaha at Sokol Auditorium.

Meanwhile The Elected is playing at Duffy's in Lincoln. Quite a contrast in fame, no?

Against Me! is playing with Alkaline Trio in Omaha, at Sokol. Unfortunately, it's in the auditorium, not the underground, which means: NO MOSHING!

How can you go to an Against Me! show and not get a little rowdy? Oh yeah, because all the 12-year-old girls in dark eyeliner and big pants who are there for Alk are going to cry if you do. Blah!

For Christmas, Chelsea got me a track jacket that was a wee bit small, so I returned it for another track jacket that I ended up not liking either. It was on sale originally, but the guy at JC Pennys exchanged it without even scanning the old jacket in, so he didn't catch the sale, which means instead of getting $15 credit, I got around $35. So they were having a sale on Modern-style shirts (many of which were originally $50) and I bought three of them for about $25.

So this has really worked out well for me.

Now if only she'd send me the rest of my Christmas present.

Last night I bought Hunter: The Reckoning, which is a bit more repetetive than I remembered, and more fun with friends, but still pretty fun, nonetheless.

Finally, I hit 37 last night in City of Heroes and got my last epic pool power, which doesn't work like they say it should, and looks as unspectacular as my last set of oily tentacle powers. LAME!
