Camping and Work

The family at camp this year was as friendly as ever. I didn't stand up to make a scary story at the camp fire. My brother-in-law and I were last to go in Sat night. We just traded stories and finished the nice bottle of Chaba Waba tequila I brought along. It was apparently Sammy Hagar's brew that he produces. I had no idea. So that's what I learned at camp.

We saw the Elk at a horrible time of the morning that I found out was called "Before Noon"! It was the time of morning I like to call "sleep time". We all started getting up around 5:30 am. I was glad I brought my espresso maker.
3 espressos later I was sound asleep in the back of my uncle's station wagon and he and my mom were chatting away as he followed my dad in his monster gas guzzler of a truck that held my sister, brother in law and two nieces. We saw a few elk in someone's back yard. That was the high point. Wild turkeys were everywhere. No bears this time. No shooting of guns. No strange lights and awkward situations with "the grays".

Before I left I sold the Wall Street Journal piece I did about a week ago. This was the 3rd person that inquired about it. I told everyone the same price. I think this guy will be happy in the long run. I plan to make my work even more valuable in the future, so hopefully he'll think he got it for a cheap price! DAMN! I probably sold too cheap!... Actually, I'm quite comfy with the price.

Not too busy yet this week. A few small jobs.
