Some mod stuff I strongly advise you actually read.

So, we have been talking about what to do with DMT, the core group of people originally behind it and me, and considering what Ought To Be Done With It.

The original core concept behind the community, which rather rapidly got lost as we expanded exponentially, was that it would be an advice community where you could seek words of wisdom on the things that ailed you - like, say, how to take over the world without ending up dead in a Berlin bunker for your troubles, or whether you should have that duel at dawn with the coworker you hate.

We've decided it might be worth a shot to go back to this. People - as in, real people, not the puppets - will post their questions, and the puppets will comment and offer their in-character suggestions. To avoid some of the problems we've had in the past, we'll be instituting a very short, simple application - a few sample questions to see if the dead personage will be a good fit to the community. We'll be expanding the time limit to a decade.

This part isn't up for debate. (Just, you know, establishing that right off the bat.) If you'd prefer not to stick around in the rebooted version, you have my blessing to go and form a new community to continue in the crack-game-with-historic-personages-spirit. Just let me know, and I'll link to it in the info <3

What I would like to know is how many of you will be planning to stick around and apply to the rebooted community, and whether you have any ideas to contribute to how to make the reboot work. Thoughts, comments, suggestions?

reboot, unleash the mods
