Yes, I am Queen Isabella of Spain. I somehow found my way onto this glowing place you call livejournal. Odd. There's nothing to conquer here is there? Oh well.
I was the great queen of Spain that drove the moors out of Granada. I had married my children off to many successful men in Europe and secured the linage of Spain for my daughter (not the best choice on my part considering she was Juana la Loca.) But I had done enough as queen to make sure she couldn't ruin the kingdom too much. I especially did well with Catalina's (Catherine of Aragon) marriage! I sent Columbus to the Americas and took over as much as I possibly could in a life time. After the fighting for the crown of Castile between my brothers I claimed it as my own after their deaths. Though I terribly missed them, I did better as a queen than any of the kings before me. I am the Queen of Castile, who ruled side by side with my husband. I was not controlled, by anyone.
