King, Grand Duke and founder of a dynasty

Hello, fellow dead ones.

A few words of introduction: I united my country with its most powerful neighbor, giving rise to an empire that at one time stretched from the Baltic to the Black Sea, but now seems to be mostly the butt of jokes. I had four wives (not at the same time, thank God). I fought in many successful campaigns, kicked the collected butt of most of my age's Christian knights, hunted wolves and bisons and bears, and died at age 83. Seeing as it was 1434, the last might be the greatest accomplishment. Possibly because, unlike most of my Western contemporaries, I bathed every day.

I see that the only familiar face around seems to be my son's buddy's younger brother. And the disturbed niece of my great-grand-whatever-daughter's husband. Sometimes, being the founder of a dynasty can be a bit embarrassing.
