Well, Tonks told Harry on the night of July 27th, according to the Lexicon, that she and Remus had gotten married. The Lexicon is also saying that the wedding took place sometime in July--I'd say early to mid-July.

Bill and Fleur's wedding took place on the day after Harry's birthday, i.e. August 1. That was also the day that the Ministry fell and the Trio fled to Tottenham Court Road.

The Trio reached Grimmauld Place in the early hours of August 2nd. Harry talked to Kreacher later that day, and sent him off to find Mundungus.

Remus came to the house three days later, on August 5, and told the kids that Tonks was going to have a baby.

Now, the way I figure it, she must have been about two weeks to a little over a month pregnant, because she and Remus didn't even get back together until Dumbledore's funeral in June.

Teddy was born shortly after the debacle at Malfoy Manor. Narcissa said that Draco was home for the Easter holidays. Easter in 1998 fell on April 13, 1998--so let's say Harry went to Malfoy Manor and arrived at Shell Cottage about a week before on April 6, 1998, since Easter hols probably wouldn't last as long as Christmas ones.

The Shell Cottage chapter states that "days stretched into weeks." Let's say at least three weeks, because right after Teddy's birth, the Trio goes to Gringotts to commit burglary. Now we're up to April 27th which seems about right, as the burglary took place on May 1, according to the Lexicon.

Therefore, when Tonks delivered her baby--which would have been conceived in July, if not earlier--she had been pregnant for about ten and a half months.

Evidently wizards don't believe in inducing labor.

I wish to hell that the woman would learn how to do math.

Maybe pureblood fanatics are right, and wizards really are a different species!
