There was a distinct pop before Ron appeared out of thin air with Ginny in his arms. The group in the forest immediatly pulled out their wands and pointed it at the mysterious apparaters before clasping their hearts and taking deep breaths of relief.
"Ron!" Seamus yelled excitedly.
"Ginny!" Harry added in the same tone of voice.
"She's hurt," Ron gently placed Ginny down on the forest floor to examine her. "She's hurt bad."
Charlie and Fleur immediatly got down on their knees to see what they could do.
"Oh my," said Fleur.
"I'll take her to St. Mungos," Charlie said as he picked Ginny up in his own arms. He apparated before any of them could say or do anything further.
"Where are they others?" Harry asked Ron.
Almost as if on cue, Ernie apparated into the forest with Justin. The group took out their wands again and pointed them at the pair.
"It's okay," Ron assured them, "that's the real Justin and Ernie."
"I'm taking Justin to the Hospital Wing," said Ernie. And with that, they disapeared again.
"Hermione's still there. The ring was a one-way portkey to where ever she is. I couldn't bring her back because she's too weak and Ginny was suffering." said Ron.
"What about Lavender?" asked Dean.
"She's down there too..." Ron started pacing the forest floor. "I have to go back and get Hermione."
*-------Meanwhile, back with the Deatheaters---------*
"Where the HELL are the others?" Rookwood demanded of Hermione.
"I-- I don't know..."
Rookwood kicked Hermione painfully in the stomache making her curl over and gasp for air.
"Fuck your pride, Mudblood. Tell me where the others are. Tell me now!"
"I told you...." Hermione whispered painfully. "I don't know where they are."
"That's it," Rookwood pulled out his wand and pointed it at Hermione. "Crucio!
Hermione's eyes widened as if she had recieved this curse several times before and was now accustomed to the warning signs. That didn't help her prevent it, however. She curled over again and sobbed loudly.
"Shut up! Tell me where they are or you die!" Rookwood's bloodshot eyes bulged at her shaking body.
"Aveda K--"
"Aveda Kedavra" Came a voice from behind. Rookwood dropped down dead. Hermione didn't know whether to scream or just gaze in wonder. She strained to see who had saved her life.
"Bloody Hell," Came Ron out of the shadows. "I killed someone!"
"Ron! How did you get here?" Hermione moaned.
"Fleur's new spell she's been working on. She used your ring to find you again."
"Oh, Ron!"
Ron ran over to her and immediatly took her up in his arms.
"Why are you crying?"
"Its...it's just...Crucio curse..." Hermione weeped.
"That fucker." Ron was almost ready to apparate when he stepped on Lavender's body. "Oh shit...right."
"You didn't forget about Lavender, did you?" Hermione asked in a voice that almost sounded normal.
"Err, no...someone else will have to come back down for her though. Wait a tic." Ron gently placed Hermione down again. "Where's the other Deatheater?"
"He left when they noticed people were missing. He's gone to look for them. We need to hurry."
Ron grabbed a bracelet off of Lavender's wrist and picked Hermione up again.
"You gonna be okay?" He asked her softly. All Hermione could do was nod. "I've got Lavender's bracelet here, so someone will be able to come and get her by using Fleur's spell. Okay?"
Hermione nodded again but this time kissed him on the cheek as well.
"Oh Ron, thank you." She sniffed.
Ron apparated back into the forest with Hermione to find the others yet again, with their wands pointing at them.
"Ron! Hermione!" They shouted happily.
"I killed someone." Ron muttered suddenly.
