Yesterday sucked mucho ass. incase i didn’t get to bitch to everyone, i emptied out pretty much all the money in my bank accounts to pay to get my brakes fixed. But today.... oh today... everything is awesome. At 10 this morning i left my house so i could go look for a second job to occupy my time and so i get try to reimburse my accounts and maybe make a little extra. So my first stop was Florence pizza. I go in and ask one of the guys if they have a position open for delivery boy, he comes out from the kitchen and gets my name and my numbers, and sends my on my way.
As i am pulling out of my parking spot he comes running out and tells me to wait because the boss wants to talk to me. I got back inside. I'm talking to the boss for a little bit, answering all the normal questions ("how many days can you work" etc). So then at the end of our conversation he asks if I’m free to start tonight. Which i am! So the first job i even apply for, i get!
Fast forward to work, i get there at 5 and they tell me all the basics, and i get too delivering. I do about 8-10 delivers by about 8:30 and everything went modestly perfect with one slight hiccup that wasn’t my fault. But anyway, i come back to the shop and they have my clean and re-Crisco the pizza pans. Which was alright but i felt super greasy afterwards. After i take out all the trash, it is about 10:15, i cash out and i made $80! With tips, 6% commission, $10 for gas, and $4/hr no taxes (cause we like to do things illegally). So as i go out back to see what my schedule for next week is, the head chef calls me over and asks if I’d like to take home some of the leftover food that they have. HELL YEAH! I got a big 12" aluminum container filled with stuffed shells and it’s covered in cheese, oh man it looks good (and it was). On top of that they gave me a small cheese pizza! Woohoo!
After i get out I’m so excited that i need to go talk to someone. So i visited taurie at work and talked to her while she closed the service desk at stop n shop. As I’m there i guy walks up and sees that the service desk is closed. Instead of holding on to the 2 scratch tickets he was going to cash in he gave them to me!
Oh what a night! Things are really looking up.
