026 :: recasting Primeval as an American show
In the very last minute I managed to put together my Recast Picspam for scifiland.
Decided to go for Recasting Primeval as an American show.
There isn't any deep reasoning behind these choices. A friend helped me (instead of going home to make dinner haha) come up with names and discard pretty much every name we came up with.
I wanted to keep it an American show with American and/or Canadian actors. That did NOT work. So, this is an American show yes, but with err... two actors being Australian BECAUSE I SAID SO.
And I've seen them in American shows being American so whatever.
We tried to make them suit in style (from other shows we've watched pretty much) and somewhat age appropriate. That didn't work too well either.
Ignore the age question for Connor vs Abby in particular. I cast Connor first, then removed that choice once I realised the perfect Abby (cause he's WAY older than her)
but I just couldn't come up with anyone for Connor so went back. At least the actor I chose tend to look younger than he is. But just imagine him a bit younger and her a bit older and we'll be golden.
Only chose tv actors (ok again, lie. This new Nick Cutter isn't a tv actor anymore but I have seen him in two recent shows so shush)
Yep, going for s1 and well... we got points for max 5 recasts and I am doing this last minute so I didn't go further, hence no Claudia, Lester or Ryan.
