Fitting In the Kink or Kinking Up the Fit

I'm not too sure about where to go with the psychosexual part of my current fic. I had it all planned out, although not necessarily in order or in clearly delineated scenes, and I thought it would all come together.

Now, I'm not sure. Of course, I would never back away from kink or weirdness out of fear of how it would be received, but I'm just not sure how it's working with this fic, how it will work following what I've written already, what else will need to be done to establish a sensical linearity.

I guess I'm just worried that it might come off as too segmented and not articulated effectively in both a narrative sense and in that of sensicality. I'm also wondering if this story really needs it, or if it might work against it in some way. But then, I really want to include it, so I guess the task at hand is one of devising how to tackle it, how to integrate it properly.

I do think it's one of the things that excite me most about writing this story, and I do feel that it fits into Dean's psychological journey - and Sam's as well, although the story is from Dean's point of view - but I'm not sure how to weave it into the main storyline. I'm just worried that it might seem factitious or decorative.

But, but, but... Kinky equals grabby hands in my mindscape. You know?

kink, questioning, write or die, ficness, big bang
