I was awoken at 9:30 AM - can you tell?

As my father was letting me drive his ugly battle-tank of a van today, I realized that driving isn't the exhilarating experience everyone makes it out to be. The end result of it is nice, I'll admit, because it gets you somewhere in a relatively short amount of time. However, the actual act of driving is nerve-wrackingly tedious. Sitting encased in one ton of metal, with a cramped ankle, while having to constantly be on the lookout for things that could kill me as I hurtle towards death, all the while knowing that, if I do get hit, no one will be able to extricate my badly broken body from the hopelessly twisted wreckage in time before I bleed to death, slumped over the steering wheel, doesn't sound like an entertaining way to pass the idle hours. That was a long sentence and driving doesn't impress me.

The hyperbole-police are coming to take me away soon, don't worry.

Tomorrow, I'm having another Campfire Dinner Party Extravaganza. It starts at 5:30ish. You guys are welcome to bring food and various forms of diversions (i.e. instruments, crossword puzzles, paddle ball etc.). Hot dogs will be roasted, s'mores will be assembled, and several bottles of Orangina may or may not be served. That was your hint to not eat dinner before showing up; I trust it will be duly noted.
