On Friday, I went with Trevor, Chelsea, and Mario to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It was great, but Oompa Loompas still freak me out. After Chelsea and I donned our Gryffindor scarves, we all headed over to the Midnight Harry Potter Party at the bookstore where, after waiting impatiently in a lengthy line, I got my coveted copy. Two days and several damp, balled up tissues later, I finished the Half-Blood Prince. The last book that had me weeping profusely like that was The Amber Spyglass when I read it three years ago. I don't think I'm going to be able to wait two more years for the last book. It's going to be unbearable.
I suffered from acute armpit strain and cramped fingers from holding the book up for prolonged periods of time. I doubt I'll be able to lift the last Potter installment.
I haven't had a decent meal in days.
I swear the owl that was carrying my Hogwarts letter must have gotten shot down en route to my house.
